Animal Specialty Services of Cook County provides colleagues with superior consultation services, focusing on small animal internal medicine and oncology. Our facilities include the latest in laboratory and radiographic equipment including an EKG machine, fibreoptic endoscopy equipment (for viewing internal areas such as the stomach, bronchial passages, nasal cavities, and the colon), and an electroencephalographic (EEG) machine for aiding in the diagnosis of neurological disorders.

Press Release Animal Specialty Services of Cook County and Wright Animal Hospital have announced two state of the art additions to their  diagnostic/therapeutic capabilities. Included are a CO2 Laser which greatly reduces bleeding and postoperative pain for surgical patients, and a JDS Digital Radiography System for increasing the quality of radiographs, magnifying critical areas for in-depth examination, improved storage, and instant distribution capabilities of the resulting radiographs through e-mail. Further capabilities include interfacing with our ultrasound equipment and Vet-Scope camera as well as the ability to “burn” images and reports into a CD for standard mailing to referring veterinarians
